Tournament specialist razorramone08 is one of the most consistently successful online players on the scene today at low to mid-level buy-ins.

He constantly books a high volume of very profitable cashes, making final tables and taking down one tournament after another – in fact, if you play tournaments on the iPoker network there’s a good chance he’s already given you the “razor treatment” and knocked you out…

The Razor says: “Watch and learn – I can do it, and so can you!”.

Total Online Earnings: $250,000+ (I don’t recall exactly, need to improve my record-keeping!).

Biggest Online Wins:

* GSOP14: $17,000 cash plus a $5000 seat in Betsafe’s GSOP Main Event
* FullTiltPoker $30,000 Guaranteed $100 buy-in 6-handed freezeout – the first time I played this I won it for a cool $9,600).

Now for the bigger field wins:

* iPoker’s $35,000 GP $10 rebuy (1122 entrants, 1st place for $7,350)
* iPoker’s $12,500 GP $5 rebuy – I’ve won this three times already actually, but the largest win was for $3,447.70 (1162 entrants).
* Over the last eight months since I started playing on Nutspoker I’ve managed to win almost every daily guarantee tournament at least once, with the exception of the 20k & 50k GP, both of which I’ve final-tabled many times – I’ll take those down soon, too!

You can check out my results and follow my form at Top Shark.

Despite my relatively young age I have been playing poker for 10 years (7 years online) and I can remember the early days of online poker before the Chris Moneymaker boom.

Over the years I have seen the game grow rapidly.
I remember going to the casino to play poker eight years ago and being able to sit down at a table right away, but now I’m lucky if I go in there and find less than 20 players on the waiting list, which shows how much our game has grown.

Now I’ve found my natural home at Nutspoker and my mission is to “razor” every tournament in sight and show you how to do it too.
Join me at the tables, watch and learn, and see your results improve; I’ll teach you some of my tricks – but not all of them, I like the easy money this lifestyle provides!

I’ll write an occasional blog here about all things poker-related, and I’m planning on getting involved in some bounty tournaments to let you take a shot at me.

Tip From The Pro

A lot of players look at the game of poker from one dimension – they play their cards and that’s it. Poker is a game of many dimensions and levels: in order to be the best you must think like the best. Next time you’re in a tournament try playing from your opponents’ points of view; by this I mean not playing your own hole cards but playing the hole cards you think your opponent has.

This doesn’t mean playing as loose as can be, but means for example when you think he is weak raise him – dont just fold automatically because you have 4-2 offsuit, if he’s weak put in a re-raise with it and find out where it gets you!

The Razor Blog – Have You Been Razored Yet?

I’ll be writing an occasional blog about the ups and downs of playing poker full time – was it Daniel Negreanu or Barry Greenstein who once said that tournament poker is a very hard way to make easy money? Whoever said it was right -it’s an insane way to try to make a living, if we’re honest, but it’s never boring!
